Who am I?
Karina Samsonova
Data Scientist and Data analyst with over 15 years of experience in Data, Finance, Technology, Analysis and Start up across a variety of industries.
Hello, I am Karina Samsonova, a finance person who turned data analyst and data scientist.
I used to be an Excel person, crunching numbers as an auditor at KPMG, then Head of FP&A at Marks&Spencer/GAP Inc fashion retail, till one day I wrote my first VBA script, and that was a beginning of new exciting journey.
I was part of the founding team as Data Scientist/Conversational AI Lead at TogetherAI, Australia’s mental health app for kids and their parents. I was instrumental to build an AI-powered chatbot that can recognise emotions from the text. I with the small team built all data capabilities from reporting and dashboards in Tableau and Re-dash up to sophisticated product and customer analytics.
Before this, I was a co-founder of DataMinds, Data Science and Data Analytics consultancy working across a range of industries: digital banks, superannuation, debt collectors, fitness subscription businesses, law enforcement, property developers, fashion, health tech, government agencies. I successfully delivered data related projects like: creating suits of reports in PowerBI, Tableau, DOMO, Re-dash; mining data insights; building complex predictive model and recommendation engines.
Now I discovered a new passion - I love sharing my knowledge with other people, and help them break into tech, become data analysts and data scientist.

Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is needed! This masterclass is designed for complete beginners. We start with the basics of Python programming and gradually build up to more complex data analysis and visualization techniques.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No, you will be using Google Colab, all you need is a gmail account.
How long is the masterclass?
It is 2.5 h split into 3 parts. It includes prerecorded videos and 16 practical home tasks to help you practice your skills.
How long is the access to the masterclass?
You will get 30 days access. You will export the files used in the masterclass, that have notes, practical examples and hometasks.
Is there a refund policy?
